Comparison review
Galaxy S5 Plus is just a bit better than the OnePlus 6, getting a general score of 78.1 against 73.3. Galaxy S5 Plus's construction is somewhat lighter than OnePlus 6, although it is a little thicker and was released many years before. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S5 Plus has a more recent 4.4.2 version and OnePlus 6 has Android 11, so it provides you a couple additional features and some performance improvements.
OnePlus 6 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more processing cores and 6 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy S5 Plus has a brighter screen than OnePlus 6, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better screen density.
OnePlus 6 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video definition and a 0.38 inches camera sensor, the OnePlus 6 also has higher video frame rate and a much bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light images and videos.
OnePlus 6 has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. OnePlus 6 counts with better battery performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
The Galaxy S5 Plus costs more than OnePlus 6, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
