Comparison review
Galaxy XCover Pro has a global score of 81, which is much better than OnePlus 6's general score of 73.3. Although Galaxy XCover Pro is newer than the OnePlus 6, it is way thicker and somewhat heavier. Both phones in this review include the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that.
The OnePlus 6 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 6 also has 4 GB more RAM. Galaxy XCover Pro features a screen that's just as good as OnePlus 6's display, and although the Galaxy XCover Pro has a little more pixels per display inch and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340px, they both have a screen of the same size.
OnePlus 6 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a camera with a much worse resolution, and they both have a same size aperture, the OnePlus 6 also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution and a way larger back camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and pictures.
The OnePlus 6 features a quite bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy XCover Pro counts with better battery lifetime than OnePlus 6, because it has a 23% bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 6. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the OnePlus 6, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
