The Xperia 1 VI is much better than OnePlus 6, with an 83.2 score against 73.3. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia 1 VI has the newer 14 version and OnePlus 6 has Android 11 version. The Xperia 1 VI is a way thinner and way lighter phone than the OnePlus 6.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI features a little bit better screen than OnePlus 6, because it has a lot higher display density, a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a little bit bigger display. OnePlus 6 has a much better performing CPU than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xperia 1 VI counts with a much better storage to store more apps and games than OnePlus 6, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia 1 VI also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Xperia 1 VI has a superior camera than OnePlus 6, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with a way larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, higher 120 frames per second video frame rates and a lot higher 48 MP resolution camera.
The Xperia 1 VI has a really longer battery performance than OnePlus 6, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
