Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is just a bit better than the OnePlus 6, with a 79 score against 73.3. Even though Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact and OnePlus 6 were released only a couple months apart, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact body is a little lighter but also a lot thicker. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and OnePlus 6 has Android 11 version, giving lots of additional features.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a more vivid screen than OnePlus 6, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch. The OnePlus 6 has more memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory.
The OnePlus 6 has a little bit better processing power than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 6 also has a higher amount of RAM. The OnePlus 6 features a little better battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2870mAh.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact takes a little bit better photos and videos than OnePlus 6, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for taking photos or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a more mega-pixels camera and a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality photos.
