Comparison review

Xperia Z5 is just a bit better than the OnePlus 6, having a 77.6 score against 73.3. Although Xperia Z5 is notably older than the OnePlus 6, it's body is just a little bit thinner and lighter. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Xperia Z5 has the older 5.1 version and OnePlus 6 has Android 11 version.

Xperia Z5 counts with a much better looking display than OnePlus 6, because although it has a bit lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. OnePlus 6 counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory.

OnePlus 6 features a bit faster processor than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 6 also counts with 5 GB more RAM. Xperia Z5 captures clearer photos and videos than OnePlus 6, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs in poorly lited environments and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a much more MP back facing camera and a larger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures.

OnePlus 6 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.

Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 6. If you want to save some money, you can get OnePlus 6, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
