Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is a bit better than OnePlus 6's 73.3 general score. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version while OnePlus 6 has Android 11. Xperia Z5 Premium's design has the same thickness than the OnePlus 6, but it is just a bit heavier.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a lot better looking screen than OnePlus 6, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and much more pixels per inch of screen. The OnePlus 6 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 6 also counts with a higher amount of RAM.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a little bit better camera than OnePlus 6, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video definition, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a much more mega pixels back-facing camera.
The OnePlus 6 features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit longer battery life than OnePlus 6, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 6. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 6, resigning some specifications.
