Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is much better than OnePlus 6, having an 83.3 score against 73.3. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi 8 has the previous 10 version while OnePlus 6 has Android 11. The Xiaomi Mi 8 design is just a bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than the OnePlus 6, even when they were released with only 0 months difference.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 and OnePlus 6 both have quite similar CPUs, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit more vivid display than OnePlus 6, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2248 and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher number of pixels in each screen inch.
The Xiaomi Mi 8's storage capacity to store more apps and games is very similar to the OnePlus 6 one, they have equal internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than OnePlus 6, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 6 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and photos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 6 also counts with a larger aperture, better 60 fps video frame rate and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
