Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is just a bit better than OnePlus 6, having a global score of 77.7 against 73.3. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a just a little lighter and just a bit thinner phone than OnePlus 6. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and OnePlus 6 has Android 11.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a display that is just as good as the screen in OnePlus 6, they have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2280, a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a screen with the same size. OnePlus 6 features a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 256 GB internal storage.
The OnePlus 6 counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have 8 cores, the OnePlus 6 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with just a bit better battery duration than OnePlus 6, because it has a 3350mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
OnePlus 6 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 6 also counts with a bigger aperture, faster 60 fps video frame rates and a lot higher 16 mega pixels resolution camera.
