Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is slightly better than the OnePlus 6, having a 76.6 score against 73.3. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has older 10 version while OnePlus 6 has Android 11 version. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 body is newer than OnePlus 6's, although it is heavier and somewhat thicker.
OnePlus 6 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 6 also has a larger amount of RAM. OnePlus 6 counts with a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher screen pixels density.
The OnePlus 6 counts with a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than OnePlus 6, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing images and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a way larger camera sensor shooting much better quality photographs and videos and a lot more MP back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a way better battery life than OnePlus 6, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it costs more money than the OnePlus 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 6. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the OnePlus 6, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
