Comparison review
OnePlus 8 Pro is a bit better than OnePlus 6T, having a score of 77.2 against 72.9. The OnePlus 8 Pro is a newer phone than the OnePlus 6T, but it is just a little bit thicker and a little heavier. The OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 6T both feature really similar processors, both of them have 8 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a sharper screen than OnePlus 6T, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, more pixels per inch of screen and a quite larger display. OnePlus 8 Pro has a superior camera than OnePlus 6T, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 60 fps video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with lot more MP and a much bigger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
OnePlus 6T counts with a much better storage for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory. OnePlus 8 Pro has greater battery duration than OnePlus 6T, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 6T, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 6T. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy OnePlus 8 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the OnePlus 6T, resigning a couple specs and features.
