Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is better than OnePlus 6T, having an 82.6 score against 72.9. Sony Xperia 1's design has the same thickness than OnePlus 6T, but it's a little lighter. Xperia 1 counts with a brighter screen than OnePlus 6T, because it has a quite bigger screen, a lot higher quantity of pixels per display inch and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840.
The Sony Xperia 1 features a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 6T, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Sony Xperia 1 features a processor that's very similar to the OnePlus 6T one, and although the Sony Xperia 1 has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The OnePlus 6T has a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh. OnePlus 6T captures slightly better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same back camera sensor size, the OnePlus 6T also counts with a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and better video frame rate.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 6T, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 6T. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get OnePlus 6T, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
