Comparison review
Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 6T's global score of 72.9. Despite of the fact that Xperia Z5 Premium is older than the OnePlus 6T, it's construction is just a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter. Xperia Z5 Premium features a much sharper screen than OnePlus 6T, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of screen and a way higher 3840 x 2160px resolution.
The OnePlus 6T features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 6T has a little bit better hardware performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 6T also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium shoots clearer pictures and videos than OnePlus 6T, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a back camera with a lot higher 23 MP resolution and a bigger sensor.
The OnePlus 6T has a little longer battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than OnePlus 6T, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 6T. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the OnePlus 6T, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
