Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a score of 76.6, which is slightly better than the OnePlus 6T's 72.9 general score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a newer phone than the OnePlus 6T, although it's just a little thicker and a bit heavier. OnePlus 6T features a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the OnePlus 6T also counts with a quite higher amount of pixels per inch in the display.
OnePlus 6T features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The OnePlus 6T counts with just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 6T also has more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a little bit better camera than OnePlus 6T, because although it has slower video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing images or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a way larger sensor taking much better quality pictures and videos.

Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it costs more than OnePlus 6T, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 6T. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the OnePlus 6T, letting go some specs and features.
