Comparison review
Galaxy A71 has a global score of 87.5, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G's 79.8 global score. Although the Galaxy A71 and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G were released with only a couple of months difference, the Galaxy A71 is somewhat lighter and thinner. These devices use Android OS, but Galaxy A71 has newer 11 version and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has Android 10 version, so it counts with some additional features.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has a slightly better display than Galaxy A71, and although they both have a same size screen, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has a better pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy A71 features just a bit more memory to install applications and games than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has 6 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a little better battery life than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because it has a 13% greater battery capacity.
Galaxy A71 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same video resolution, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and pictures and a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
