Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is slightly better than the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, having an 82.6 score against 79.8. Sony Xperia 1's body is a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, even though both were released with only a couple months difference. Xperia 1 features a little sharper display than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels number per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia 1, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has 6 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 has a bit more storage for games and applications than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB.
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has longer battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3330mAh. The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G takes much clearer photos and videos than Xperia 1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a same size camera aperture, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has a much more mega pixels camera, better video frame rates and a way larger back camera sensor.
