The Huawei Mate 8 is slightly better than OnePlus 7 Pro, getting a overall score of 77.4 against 72.3. The Huawei Mate 8 is an a lot older phone than the OnePlus 7 Pro, but it's thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. The OnePlus 7 Pro features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 7 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 7 Pro has a more vivid display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a much higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px, a quite larger display and a greater pixels density. OnePlus 7 Pro shoots way better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a lot more mega pixels camera in the back, a much better (4K) video definition and a larger camera aperture for better captures in poorly lited situations.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than OnePlus 7 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 128 GB. The OnePlus 7 Pro and the Huawei Mate 8 have incredibly similar batteries performance.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the OnePlus 7 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 7 Pro. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 7 Pro, giving up some features and specs.
