Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 has an overall score of 82.6, which is better than the OnePlus 7 Pro's score of 72.3. Sony Xperia 1 is a lighter and just a little thinner phone than OnePlus 7 Pro, even when both were only released 0 months apart. The Sony Xperia 1 has a little more vivid screen than OnePlus 7 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a greater quantity of pixels per screen inch.
Xperia 1 counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 7 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia 1's processing unit is very similar to OnePlus 7 Pro's processor, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The OnePlus 7 Pro has a very superior camera than Xperia 1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a same size camera aperture, the OnePlus 7 Pro also has higher video frame rates, a much bigger sensor shooting lot higher quality photos and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
The OnePlus 7 Pro has superior battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 7 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 7 Pro. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the OnePlus 7 Pro, giving up a couple features and specifications.
