Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is a lot better than OnePlus 7 Pro's 72.3 overall score. The Xperia 1 III is a noticeably newer phone, and it's also just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter than the OnePlus 7 Pro. The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with just a bit better display than OnePlus 7 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 1644 x 3840.
Sony Xperia 1 III features a little faster processor than OnePlus 7 Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has more RAM memory. OnePlus 7 Pro counts with a much better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower video frame rate and a tinier back camera sensor, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 7 Pro also counts with a back camera with way more mega-pixels and a larger camera aperture.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has much more storage capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 7 Pro, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Xperia 1 III has just a bit longer battery performance than OnePlus 7 Pro, because it has a 13 percent bigger battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia 1 III is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 7 Pro, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
