Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is much better than OnePlus 7 Pro, with a score of 82.2 against 72.3. Despite being the best we are comparing here, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, way thicker and somewhat heavier phone than the OnePlus 7 Pro. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a more vivid display than OnePlus 7 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better display density and a higher 2160 x 3840 resolution.
Xperia XZ2 Premium's processing unit is just as good as the OnePlus 7 Pro one, both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and 6 GB of RAM memory. The OnePlus 7 Pro shoots better photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 7 Pro also has a larger camera aperture, a back-facing camera with a lot higher 48 mega pixels resolution, better video frame rate and a larger sensor.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has more storage for applications and games than OnePlus 7 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 400 GB. The OnePlus 7 Pro features just a bit better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the OnePlus 7 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7 Pro. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some money and buy the OnePlus 7 Pro, giving up some specifications.
