Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 Premium is much better than OnePlus 7 Pro, with a 79.8 score against 72.3. The Xperia Z5 Premium construction is thinner and lighter than OnePlus 7 Pro, even though it was released 4 years before. The OnePlus 7 Pro has just a bit better hardware performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 7 Pro also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a much sharper screen than OnePlus 7 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher pixel count per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 3840 x 2160. OnePlus 7 Pro counts with a quite bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The OnePlus 7 Pro features just a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The OnePlus 7 Pro features a much better camera than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 7 Pro also has a lot more megapixels back facing camera, a larger aperture to take better low light images and video, a larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality and better 60 fps video frame rate.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium costs a lot more money than OnePlus 7 Pro, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
