Asus ROG Phone 8 is much better than the OnePlus 7, getting a 79.5 score against 71.6. The Asus ROG Phone 8 is a a lot newer cellphone than the OnePlus 7, although it is just a little bit thicker and heavier. Both phones we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has the newer 14 version while OnePlus 7 has Android 11 version, so it provides the user a couple additional features and a performance increase.

Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much longer battery lifetime than OnePlus 7, because it has a 5500mAh battery size. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a slightly better camera than OnePlus 7, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos, it also counts with a camera with a higher resolution, a much larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way higher 7680x4320 video quality.
