Asus ZenFone 8 has a general score of 83, which is much better than OnePlus 7's 71.6 global score. Both phones in this comparison review work with the same Android 11 OS, so both of them should give very similar operating system features. Even though the Asus ZenFone 8 is a little bit thicker than OnePlus 7, it's a little lighter and also newer.
The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a CPU that is just as good as the OnePlus 7 one, both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a much better looking display than OnePlus 7, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a just a bit more pixels per screen inch.
Asus ZenFone 8 has just a bit better camera than OnePlus 7, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photography and video, it also counts with a camera with lot more megapixels, a way better 7680x4320 video quality and a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
The Asus ZenFone 8's memory capacity for games and applications is just as good as OnePlus 7's one, they have the same 128 GB internal memory. The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little better battery lifetime than OnePlus 7, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery capacity.
