Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is much better than the OnePlus 7, with a score of 79.5 against 71.6. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Huawei Mate 20's design is just a little heavier and a little bit thicker than OnePlus 7. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 7 has Android 11 version, so it provides some additional features and optimized performance.
OnePlus 7 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus 7 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 20 features a bit more vivid display than OnePlus 7, because although it has a little bit less pixels per screen inch and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2244, it also counts with a bit bigger screen.
The Huawei Mate 20 features as much storage for games and applications as the OnePlus 7 one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 20 features a bit better battery performance than OnePlus 7, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3700mAh. The OnePlus 7 takes much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 7 also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light images and videos, a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera, higher 60 fps video frame rate and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Huawei Mate 20 is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 7, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
