The Huawei Mate 20 lite is a bit better than OnePlus 7, getting a 76.2 score against 71.6. Even though Huawei Mate 20 lite and the OnePlus 7 were released with only 8 months difference, Huawei Mate 20 lite is a little bit thinner and a little lighter. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 lite has 8.1 Oreo version while OnePlus 7 has Android 11 version, providing some additional features and optimized performance.
The OnePlus 7 has a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 7 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The OnePlus 7 has a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a quite inferior pixel number in each screen inch, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, the OnePlus 7 also counts with a quite bigger display.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a quite bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 7, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. OnePlus 7 has a very superior camera than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a bigger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light situations, a lot more MP back-facing camera and a lot better video quality.
OnePlus 7 and Huawei Mate 20 lite both count with very similar battery durations, although the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has 3750mAh of battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
