Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than the OnePlus 7, getting a score of 78.7 against 71.6. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro body is just a little lighter and a bit thinner than OnePlus 7, even though it was released many years before. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and OnePlus 7 has Android 11 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features.
OnePlus 7 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 6 GB RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has just a bit better display than OnePlus 7, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has as much memory capacity to store more games and applications as the OnePlus 7 one, they have the same internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 7 features a way better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video quality, the OnePlus 7 also has higher 60 fps video frame rates, a much better 48 mega pixels resolution back camera, a way larger camera aperture for better images and videos in low light environments and a lot larger sensor taking much better quality videos and photos.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than OnePlus 7, because it has an 8% greater battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 7. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 7, giving up some features and specifications.
