Comparison review
The LG G5 has a score of 76.1, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 7's 71.6 general score. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the LG G5 has 8.0 Oreo version while OnePlus 7 has Android 11 version. LG G5 is an a lot older phone than OnePlus 7, but it is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner anyway.
The LG G5 features a slightly better looking display than OnePlus 7, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. LG G5 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than OnePlus 7, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
OnePlus 7 features a bit better processing unit than LG G5, because it has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. OnePlus 7 counts with better battery life than LG G5, because it has a 32 percent larger battery size. The OnePlus 7 shoots much better pictures and videos than LG G5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 7 also has higher video frame rates, a much bigger back camera sensor taking way higher quality photos and videos, a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution and a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography in low-light situations.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the OnePlus 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the OnePlus 7, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
