OnePlus 7 has a bit more vivid screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a little bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution, a bit better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a larger screen.
The OnePlus 7 has a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 7 also has a larger amount of RAM. Moto Z2 Play has much more storage to store more apps and games than OnePlus 7, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
OnePlus 7 counts with improved battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 23% bigger battery size. The OnePlus 7 shoots much better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same size diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 7 also has a lot more megapixels camera and faster 60 fps video frame rates.
