Comparison review
OnePlus 8 UW is a bit better than OnePlus 7, getting a 75.9 score against 71.6. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the OnePlus 8 UW has the previous 10 version and OnePlus 7 has Android 11 version. The OnePlus 8 UW is a newer phone, and it is also just a little bit thinner and a bit lighter than the OnePlus 7.
OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 8 UW count with really similar CPUs, and although the OnePlus 8 UW has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. OnePlus 8 UW features a little bit better looking screen than OnePlus 7, because it has a just a bit greater number of pixels in each inch of display, a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger screen.
The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a camera that's very similar to OnePlus 7's camera, and although the OnePlus 8 UW has a smaller aperture, they both have the same camera sensor size, the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a 48 mega-pixels. The OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 8 UW both have quite similar storage to install games and applications, they have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a bit better battery performance than OnePlus 7, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity against 3700mAh.
Although OnePlus 8 UW is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy OnePlus 8 UW, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the OnePlus 7, letting go a couple specs and features.
