Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is way better than the OnePlus 7, getting a score of 94.6 against 71.6. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a newer and thinner device than OnePlus 7, although it's a lot heavier. Both devices in this comparison review include the same Android 11 OS. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a bit better processing power than OnePlus 7, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM.
OnePlus 7 counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little smaller screen and a way worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little higher display pixel density. The OnePlus 7 counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 7 also counts with a larger aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light situations and a back facing camera with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 7, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with longer battery life than OnePlus 7, because it has a 22 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 7. If you want to save some money, you can buy the OnePlus 7, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
