Comparison review

Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is much better than OnePlus 7's global score of 71.6. Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, a lot thicker and extremely heavier phone than OnePlus 7. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a processor that is just as good as OnePlus 7's CPU, both have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount.

Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better looking screen than OnePlus 7, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a much better 2160 x 3840 resolution. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a better memory capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus 7, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 400 GB.

The OnePlus 7 shoots much better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 7 also has a larger aperture, a back camera with a way better 48 megapixels resolution, better video frame rate and a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

OnePlus 7 features a bit longer battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery size.

Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 7. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save a couple dollars and get the OnePlus 7, letting go a couple features and specifications.
