Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is better than the OnePlus 7's general score of 71.6. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.1 version while OnePlus 7 has Android 11 version. Although the Xperia Z5 Premium is extremely older than OnePlus 7, it's construction is a little bit thinner and a little lighter.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much better looking screen than OnePlus 7, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater display density and a way better 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. OnePlus 7 counts with a bit better CPU than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 7 also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 7 counts with a better memory for applications and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The OnePlus 7 has a little better battery performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity against 3430mAh.
The OnePlus 7 shoots better photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 7 also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light captures, a bigger back camera sensor, higher video frame rate and a way higher resolution back facing camera.
The Xperia Z5 Premium is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 7, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
