The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is slightly better than HTC One M9, having an 80.1 score against 77.7. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is a a lot newer and a little thinner cellphone than the HTC One M9, although it is a lot heavier. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a newer 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, so it provides the user some nice extra features.
The HTC One M9 features a bit better hardware performance than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and a graphics co-processor. The HTC One M9 counts with a bit sharper display than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display, a lot smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren shoots better videos and photos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has faster video frame rates, a back-facing camera with a lot better 48 MP resolution, a lot bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and video and a larger sensor taking higher quality pictures.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a very superior battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has 4085mAh of battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.
Although OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One M9. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the HTC One M9, resigning some features and specs.
