Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is better than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren's global score of 80.1. Even when the Xperia 1 II and OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren were released only 6 months apart, the Xperia 1 II is somewhat thinner and lighter. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 II has a newer 11 version while OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has Android 10 version, giving a couple additional features.
OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren counts with a bit faster processor than Sony Xperia 1 II, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia 1 II features just a bit better screen than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a better pixel quantity in each screen inch.

OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren takes much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting lower quality photos, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos.
