Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II is just a bit better than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, with an 87.2 score against 80.1. Xperia 5 II is a newer phone, and it is also somewhat thinner and lighter than the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren counts with a little bit better looking display than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a just a little greater display density, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a bit larger display.
Xperia 5 II counts with a quite bigger storage to install applications and games than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren features a little faster processing unit than Sony Xperia 5 II, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has 4 GB more RAM.
OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren takes much better videos and photos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has slower video frame rate and a tinier sensor taking less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also counts with a much higher 48 MP resolution back facing camera and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light situations.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has just a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 2% larger battery size.
Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 5 II, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, letting go some features and specifications.
