Comparison review

The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren's global score of 80.1. Despite being the best we are comparing, we must note that it's also an older, somewhat heavier and thicker cellphone. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren features a bit better processing unit than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a sharper screen than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren features more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.

The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren counts with a better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video resolution, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has a bigger sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs, higher 60 fps video frame rates, a bigger aperture and a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.

OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a bit better battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4085mAh battery size instead of 3540mAh.

Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, giving up some specifications.
