The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has an overall score of 80.1, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z5's 77.6 global score. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren's construction is newer, but much heavier and thicker than the Xperia Z5. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a more recent 10 version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version, so it provides the user lots of additional features and performance enhancements.
The Xperia Z5 has a slightly better display than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, although it has a little bit worse screen density, a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a much smaller display. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren captures much clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has a bigger sensor taking better quality videos and pictures, a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photos, a camera with way more mega-pixels and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren costs a little more than the Xperia Z5, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
