Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than OnePlus 7T Pro, getting an 83 score against 75.8. The Galaxy Note8 construction is a little lighter and just a little bit thinner than OnePlus 7T Pro, although it was released many years before. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 and OnePlus 7T Pro both have very similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a little smaller screen and a bit worse 1440 x 2960 resolution, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display.
OnePlus 7T Pro features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. OnePlus 7T Pro has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 7T Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
OnePlus 7T Pro counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 7T Pro also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much more MP back-facing camera, a bigger aperture to capture better photos in low light situations and faster video frame rate.
OnePlus 7T Pro counts with better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 24 percent more battery capacity.
Galaxy Note8 costs a bit more than OnePlus 7T Pro, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
