The Huawei Mate 8 has an overall score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 7T's 72.2 overall score. Huawei Mate 8's body is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter than OnePlus 7T, although it was released 4 years before. OnePlus 7T features a little bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the OnePlus 7T also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 7T has just a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a just a little better number of pixels in each inch of screen and a little larger screen. The OnePlus 7T features a greater camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a camera with a way better resolution, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a larger aperture for better low light images and video.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 7T, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Huawei Mate 8 has a little better battery duration than OnePlus 7T, because it has a 5% larger battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 7T, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7T. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, else you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 7T, giving up some features and specifications.
