Comparison review
Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is much better than OnePlus 7T's global score of 72.2. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 operating system. The Galaxy A42 construction is newer than the OnePlus 7T's, although it's just a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier. The OnePlus 7T counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better pixels density and a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 7T, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1000 GB. The OnePlus 7T counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cores, the OnePlus 7T also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy A42 features greater battery life than OnePlus 7T, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 7T takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a camera in the back with a 48 mega-pixels, the OnePlus 7T also has better 60 fps video frame rates and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and videos.
