Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 has a score of 85, which is much better than the OnePlus 7T's general score of 72.2. Even when the Galaxy M40 and OnePlus 7T were only released with a couple months difference, the Galaxy M40 is a little thinner and lighter. These phones include Android OS, but Galaxy M40 has the previous 10 version and OnePlus 7T has Android 11 version.
The OnePlus 7T features a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels quantity per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little bit bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than OnePlus 7T, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
OnePlus 7T counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M40, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 7T also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The OnePlus 7T counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 7T also has a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates, a larger aperture to take better images in low light situations and a much larger sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photographs.
OnePlus 7T features just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 9 percent larger battery capacity.
