Comparison review
The Xperia 1 is better than the OnePlus 7T, with an 82.6 score against 72.2. Xperia 1's body has the same thickness than OnePlus 7T, but it is a bit lighter. The Xperia 1 counts with a more vivid screen than OnePlus 7T, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia 1 also has a lot more pixels per inch in the screen and a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
OnePlus 7T has a little better performance than Xperia 1, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 7T also has more RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 7T, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 512 GB.
The OnePlus 7T counts with a little better battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh. The OnePlus 7T has a lot better camera than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have the same video definition and a F1.6 diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 7T also has faster video frame rate, a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a way larger camera sensor which offers a way better photo and video quality.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 7T, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7T. If you want to save some money, you can buy the OnePlus 7T, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
