Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is way better than the OnePlus 7T's 72.2 overall score. These phones use the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect. The Sony Xperia 1 II is a a little lighter and just a little bit thinner device than OnePlus 7T, although both of them were released only 7 months apart.
Xperia 1 II has a sharper screen than OnePlus 7T, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xperia 1 II also has a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a much greater pixels amount per inch of display. Xperia 1 II has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 7T, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1000 GB and 256 GB internal memory.
OnePlus 7T has just a little better hardware performance than Xperia 1 II. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU. The OnePlus 7T shoots much better videos and photos than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor taking lower quality images and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 7T also counts with a back facing camera with much more megapixels and a larger aperture for better low light photography and videos.
The Xperia 1 II features a bit better battery life than OnePlus 7T, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3800mAh.
