The Sony Xperia 5 II is way better than the OnePlus 7T, with an 87.2 score against 72.2. The Sony Xperia 5 II is a newer device, and it's also lighter and a little bit thinner than the OnePlus 7T. The OnePlus 7T counts with a bit better processor than Xperia 5 II. Both of them have a 8 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.

Xperia 5 II features a bit more vivid display than OnePlus 7T, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels density and a little bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution. The OnePlus 7T features a superior camera than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has worse video frame rate and a smaller sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same video definition, the OnePlus 7T also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low light images and video and a back camera with a much higher resolution.

Sony Xperia 5 II features much more storage to store more games and applications than OnePlus 7T, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Xperia 5 II counts with a bit better battery performance than OnePlus 7T, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 7T, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 7T. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia 5 II, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 7T, letting go some features and specs.
