Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is much better than the OnePlus 7T, having a overall score of 82.2 against 72.2. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Xperia XZ2 Premium's design is older, a lot thicker and somewhat heavier than OnePlus 7T. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much sharper display than OnePlus 7T, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution and a lot higher pixel density.
The OnePlus 7T counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus 7T also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The OnePlus 7T takes much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 7T also has a bigger aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited situations, a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution, a bigger camera sensor and better video frame rate.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better memory for games and applications than OnePlus 7T, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 400 GB. OnePlus 7T has a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 3800mAh battery size against 3540mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the OnePlus 7T, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7T. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get OnePlus 7T, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
