Comparison review
Xperia Z5 has a score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 7T's 72.2 global score. Despite of the fact that the Xperia Z5 is noticeably older than OnePlus 7T, it's construction is lighter and just a bit thinner. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Xperia Z5 has older 5.1 version and OnePlus 7T has Android 11 version.
OnePlus 7T has a bit better processing power than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 7T also counts with more RAM memory. The Xperia Z5 has a better looking screen than OnePlus 7T, because although it has a much smaller screen and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
The OnePlus 7T takes much better pictures and videos than Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same video definition, the OnePlus 7T also has a larger camera aperture for better low light photos and video, faster video frame rates, a back camera with a way higher 48 megapixels resolution and a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
OnePlus 7T features more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 7T features greater battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh.
Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 7T, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7T. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia Z5, but if you don't you can save some money and get the OnePlus 7T, giving up some specs and features.
