Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is much better than the OnePlus 7T's overall score of 72.2. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium body is a little bit thinner and a bit lighter than OnePlus 7T, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. These phones include Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has older 5.1 version and OnePlus 7T has Android 11.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much sharper screen than OnePlus 7T, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater screen density and a lot higher 3840 x 2160 resolution. The OnePlus 7T has a bit better processing power than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 7T also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.

OnePlus 7T counts with a better storage for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The OnePlus 7T counts with a bit longer battery life than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity against 3430mAh.

OnePlus 7T takes much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same video definition, the OnePlus 7T also has a bigger aperture to take better images and video in low light situations, a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality, a back camera with way more mega-pixels and faster 60 fps video frame rate.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 7T, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 7T. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 7T, resigning a couple specifications.
