Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is much better than the OnePlus 7T, getting a overall score of 83.3 against 72.2. The Xiaomi Mi 8 construction is just a bit thinner and a bit lighter than OnePlus 7T, although it was released just a little over a year before. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi 8 has the older 10 version and OnePlus 7T has Android 11 version.
The OnePlus 7T features just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the OnePlus 7T also has a higher amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little bit better looking screen than OnePlus 7T, although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2248 resolution, a bit smaller screen and a little worse pixels number in each display inch.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a superior memory to store more games and applications than OnePlus 7T, because it has more internal storage. OnePlus 7T captures much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same video definition, the OnePlus 7T also has a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a bigger diafragm aperture for better photography in poorly lited environments, a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back camera and higher 60 fps video frame rates.
The OnePlus 7T features a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery size.
