Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has an overall score of 77.7, which is a little bit better than the OnePlus 7T's 72.2 global score. Both devices we are comparing here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while OnePlus 7T has Android 11. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a just a bit thinner and lighter cellphone than the OnePlus 7T.
OnePlus 7T features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a quite bigger screen, a bit higher count of pixels per screen inch and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's storage for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to the OnePlus 7T one, both have equal internal memory.
OnePlus 7T counts with just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 7T also has a higher amount of RAM memory. OnePlus 7T captures much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 7T also has faster 60 fps video frame rate, a lot higher resolution back-facing camera, a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a larger diafragm aperture to take better captures and videos in low light situations.
OnePlus 7T features a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 13% more battery capacity.
