Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has an overall score of 75.8, which is slightly better than the OnePlus 7T's 72.2 overall score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's construction has the same thickness than the OnePlus 7T, but it's a little lighter. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has newer 8.0 Oreo version and OnePlus 7T has Android 11, so it offers a couple additional features.
The OnePlus 7T counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a quite bigger screen and a bit more pixels per inch of screen. OnePlus 7T features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 7T also has a higher amount of RAM.
The OnePlus 7T takes much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a lot larger aperture to capture better low light photography, a camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution and a way better video quality. OnePlus 7T features a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a bit better battery performance than OnePlus 7T, because it has a 5% larger battery size.
