Comparison review
Google Pixel 3a XL is slightly better than OnePlus 8 Pro, getting a overall score of 78.9 against 77.2. The Google Pixel 3a XL body is just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the OnePlus 8 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released around 12 months before. The OnePlus 8 Pro features an incredibly better screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a higher pixels density, a little bit bigger screen and a higher 1440 x 3168 resolution.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit faster processing unit than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has more RAM.
OnePlus 8 Pro features improved battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a 22% larger battery size. The OnePlus 8 Pro shoots way better videos and photos than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a way bigger sensor shooting much better quality photos and videos, better 60 fps video frame rates and a much higher resolution back facing camera.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Google Pixel 3a XL is also a bargain compared to the other devices.
